Chef de Cuisine Jerry Frivance has worked at Sharpies since our earliest days.  A Native of Carteret County and Graduate of the Carteret Community College Culinary School, Chef Frivance and his wife Rachel have three children and reside in Beaufort, NC.  Jerry worked side by side with Zac Durham for the last year and proved to be the natural choice above many applicants.  "Chef Frivance understands the Sharpies concept and shares our vision for the future of Sharpies" states owner Joyce Gross, "We really work well together. Jerry is a great leader for our team, one every body respects and trust."

Chef Frivance brings a combined 15 years of experience in the restaurant industry with a six year emphasis in Fine Dining.  In addition to his time at Sharpies, he has worked at Nikola's (previously of Morehead City), and Greens Supper Club in Greensboro, NC.

To assist Chef Frivance we also hired Chef de Cuisine, Bee Castle.  Chef Castle manages our kitchen at lunch and assists Chef Frivance in the day to day operations of Sharpies.
